Both breaking strains are true sinking braid, and both are ideal for any angler fishing on weedy snaggy venues. It features a dark green base that’s exceptionally colour-fast and doesn’t fade quickly. These green base fibres naturally darken when wet, and in combination with black colour sectioning, ensures that the line is supremely discreet even when draped over weed beds.
25lb is 0.40mm uncrushed (0.30mm manufacturer rating) and the 40lb is 0.48mm uncrushed (0.34mm manufacturers spec as originally rated).
If your fishing for big fish in savage weed then the 40lb offers key advantages in terms of strength, but for those that fish a range of venues then the 25lb version will probably be the more versatile choice. 300m spool.
